A little about me

Right now my sister is my only follower, so she really doesn't need to read this, but this is in case some other poor soul happens upon this blog.
I think I shall do this in list form:
-My name is Desiree
-I'm 25
-I am starting my senior year at the University of North Texas (from here on out-UNT)
-I am majoring in Sociology with a minor in Nonprofit and Community Leadership
-I complain about school WAY too much, and you dear reader, will have to put up with it
-I work at a Navy Gateway Inns & Suites (lodging facility) as a reservation clerk
-I want to be a volunteer manager when I grow up
-I have two awesome parents who are still married and gave me the ridiculous idea that true love does exist and that I shouldn't settle for anything less
-I have two awesome grandparents who did the same thing and just celebrated their 51st anniversary last month
-I am a big sister to Phillip and Laura, and I am queen at getting on both of their nerves, but I have their backs no matter what, and they know it.
-My bestest friend ever is Cilia, so she will get plenty of shoutouts. Just to let you know, so you aren't like "why is this Cilia person mentioned all the time, is Desiree a lesbian?!!!" The answer would be no, although my human sexuality teacher doesn't think so.
-My other best friends are Jessica and Jeff, they shall also receive shoutouts.
-I like to eat.
-I like to sleep.
-I like to read (although not for school, but who does?).

That's it for now, I need to hop in the shower and take a break from homework, which really means I need to iron my uniforms for work tomorrow.

Here is my to do list for the rest of the week:
1. I have a five page paper due for one class.
2. Respond to two journal entries of my journal partner
3. Respond to one entry on a discussion posting
4. A self assessment of my attitudes towards parental involvement in schools
5. A final
6. Get my hair did by my friend Crystal
7. Visit a little boy I used to babysit
8. Party it up this weekend to celebrate being out of school for two weeks
9. On Sunday, relax and watch lots of Golden Girls
